Most buyers ask one question first: how much does maca powder cost per kilo? It depends on six things, and two quotes that do not state them cannot be compared. This is what moves the price, and what to send us for a firm quote.

Six things that set the price per kilo

  1. Color. Yellow maca is 60–70% of the harvest, red about a quarter and black 10–15%. The scarcer the color, the higher the price.
  2. Processing. Raw powder is dried and milled. Gelatinized powder adds extrusion cooking at 105–140 °C. Maca root extract takes 10 kg (10:1) or 20 kg (20:1) of fresh root for each kilo, so it costs a multiple of the powder price.
  3. Organic status. All our powders are certified organic. If you compare them with conventional maca, certification and traceability explain part of the difference.
  4. Volume. We quote from 200 kg of powder and 50 kg of extract; volume pricing starts at 1 ton.
  5. Packaging and mesh. 5 kg bags for most products, and 25 kg drums, 25 kg paper sacks or 200 g retail doypacks for gelatinized maca. The mesh goes from 80 to 200, to your specification.
  6. Incoterm and destination. FOB Callao is the base; CIF adds freight and insurance to your port.

Why we do not publish a price list

Each quote depends on the six points above, so a single number would mislead more than it helps. Send us your product and volume and we reply with current prices within 24 hours.

What to send us for a firm quote

Product and color, raw or gelatinized (or the extract ratio), mesh, volume, packaging, destination port and Incoterm. We quote FOB Callao or CIF to ports in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, India, Australia and Asia. Request current prices.
